My training, work experience and any achievement

My expertise are in the field of relationship concerns and depression and once you have taken your first step towards healing – by booking your initial consultation with me or enlisting on one of my relationship programmes – this will soon become apparent.

We will commence with an assessment of your concerns, for which your consultations will continue on a weekly basis, where a more steady approach will be taken and if required, you will be given beneficial tasks, when appropriate, in order for you to progress at a pace that is comfortable to yourself.

My innate abilities of compassion and empathy equipped me to pursue a career as a professional counsellor, in order to assist individuals to understand their own feelings and emotions whilst enabling them to project these, in a positive way, towards themselves and others.

My method is authenticity, as I believe this is the best way forward for my clients, as well as myself, in order for us to attain and maintain a mutual understanding and respect which will deliver high achievable results.

My work ethic is nothing less than professional and I adhere to a strict code and conduct counselling policy.

Further Information

Depression is something that we all as a nation generally experience at some stage in our life. It can show itself for a short period of time whilst in some extreme cases, it can prolong for months, sometimes even years at a time.

There are many factors which contribute to depression i.e. excessive alcohol consumption, bereavement, stress and even unemployment and as the unemployment figure rises, so indeed does depression. There are also some people who were born with, or developed a bio-chemistry that makes them depressed, such as a manic depressive, this is known as endogenous depression, for which there are varying degrees of severity. Drug therapy maybe one solution for such a person and although counselling is sometimes offered alongside this, there is very little that a professional counsellor can do to help the client regarding this type of depression.

If depression goes unrecognised and unmanaged it can cause an array of problems, such as anxiety, panic attacks or even suicide thoughts or attempts, for which an individual should seek help.

On contact with my service, your initial consultation will consist of an assessment, where I will ascertain whether my services will be beneficial to you or not and if we agree to commence consultations, you will be made aware of my counselling boundaries which are set in place.

Following your initial assessment you will then have regular weekly consultations, where in time, you will be able to identify the cause of your depression, recognise your symptoms and slowly move towards alleviating, managing and in most cases eventually removing the depression. During this period of time you may be given a daily/weekly action plan to complete at a consistent rate, for which you should be willing to partake, in order for you to progress and see the desired results.

The amount of consultations you will require depends entirely on your individual concerns and circumstances but in order for you to benefit from my services, I recommend you have at least 6 consultations.

Online counselling is not meant for everyone but it allows you anonymity whilst receiving therapy within the comfort of your own home and has proved beneficial, convenient and highly successful for most.

There are periods in our lives when the majority of us experience relationship concerns, whether it is regarding a marriage, civil partnership or family relationships and it is at this point in time when we can all benefit from a little intermediary from an outside source.

Relationship counselling is a way of releasing the pressure or confusion from oneself by undergoing therapy from a relationship expert, who will assist you to grasp the reasons why your relationship is in decline and help you to realise the necessary steps you can take in order to alleviate your relationship concerns.

A professional relationship expert does not take sides, neither gives advice but instead, jointly explore the concerns with your spouse or family member, in order for each individual to understand their own and their spouses or family members emotions, whilst in return, assisting you to bring about the highly sought after enhancement within the relationship.

You will both be placed on either my 4 or 6 weeks relationship programme where the initial and quite often the second consultation will be held separately from each client involved, in order to ascertain your emotions, anxieties and concerns regarding the relationship and also to make you aware of the counselling boundaries which are set in place.

From the third consultation onwards we will all connect via a conference call (numbers will be given at the appropriate time) or my online consultation room (if each client has a separate pc or laptop) where the relationship counselling will progress collectively. Committing yourselves to this highly effective programme will embed in you positive actions and thought patterns which you will be sure to utilise time and time again within your relationship.

Online relationship counselling is not a ‘quick fix’ solution and may not suit everyone. It is a process where each individual must be fully open and willing to participate in any relevant tasks that may be given, towards the development of your relationship, whilst being patient to achieve the desired results.

Once these things are maintained your relationship will progressively improve.
