Sunday Shiatsu Graduate Clinic at Neals Yard Fouberts Place is a great solution for people on low income or people interested in trying out Shiatsu for the 1st time.Every Sunday from 1-5pm, £25 for 1 hours full Shiatsu treatment.
Shiatsu is a Japanese treatment meaning finger pressure.
It consists of the practitoner applying pressure using his/her fingers, palms, knuckles, elbows and knees on the body along energy pathways called meridians. Acupuncture points, energy zones, rotations to joints and muscle and meridian stretches are also used in a treatment.
Treatment is applied fully chlothed lying on a special Shiatsu mat on the floor.
Shiatsu is a fantastic natural drug fee treatment for stress and all stress related ailments such as neck and back pain, headaches, migraine, period pains, menopause, joint pains, RSI, sleeplessness, fatigue/tiredness, digestive disorders, immune system disorder (colds and flus)and it is also a great way of preventing the build up of stress.
This clinic is provided by Ken Hettiarachi who is a qualified Shiatsu practitioner and has been practicing since July 2007. Ken specialises in relieving pain and inflammation.
