About Yorkshire Therapy
Here at The Yorkshire Therapy Company we are committed to wellbeing and personal development. We provide a range of therapies that influence a person’s own energy system with the aim of achieving a healthy state of balance and positive change.We have clinics in Skipton, Saltaire and Silsden and offer day, evening and weekend appointments.
We focus on three core therapies, these are Reiki, Emotional Freedom Technique ’Tapping’ (EFT) and Reflexology. Each of these treatments offer a different experience suited to an individual’s own preference and needs from the therapy.
We also massage and manipulation treatments that work in a physical sense, providing muscle tension relief and relaxation.
Lauren Seward is a Reiki Master and Teacher and runs regular courses and share groups in Reiki at the Skipton and Saltaire premises.
My training, work experience and any achievement
Lauren Seward owns and runs The Yorkshire Therapy Company and is a Reiki Master & Teacher. She is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD) and gained a Master of Arts in Human Resource Development (MA) in 2002. Lauren also completed her qualifications in occupational psychology way back in 1996, and uses a range of personality trait and type profiling throughout her work both with organisations and with individuals.About ten years ago Lauren became more focused on her own health, well-being and spiritual development, initially beginning to study Reiki and then completing a Diploma in Reflexology and Anatomy and Physiology, then studying EFT and a range of massage therapies.
Alongside running Yorkshire Therapy Lauren she also writes material and lectures part-time at the Bradford University School of Management for the MBA and MSc (HRM) post-graduate programmes, specialising in managerial and professional development, CPD and learning.
