About Birkdale Hypnotherapy
I am a Solution Focused Clinical Hypnotherapist and Psychotherapist.My pleasure comes from helping those who need want to make positive changes to their life.
I studied at The Clifton Practice in Manchester, one of the most prestigious training schools in the country and gained my Diploma in Solution Focused Hypnotherapy.
I work from two informal clinics in Southport and Chorley. I practise a simple and modern hypnotherapy technique called Solution Focused Hypnotherapy. This approach differs from other methods of hypnotherapy by identifying the presenting problem and positively and swiftly facilitating change. The process is comfortable and simple and the you will feel in control, as we work together to achieve the changes needed. This approach offers you real hope to make your future life exactly as you wish it to be.
This cutting- edge therapy can help people with many familiar and unfamiliar problems. I work with difficult areas of depression, anxiety, panic attacks and OCD. Weight loss , sports performance and stopping smoking are other areas that can be addressed and can offer rewarding results.The first hypnotherapy session is free, giving the client the time to explore the benefits of the therapy and giving me the chance to explain how I can help . The sessions are conducted professionally, confidentially and in a relaxed environment.
I have had significant success with weight loss clients. I offer a ’slow burn’, long term approach, and a ’fast burn’, for those who need a quick pre- holiday boost or a helping hand with the diet.

My background is in Radiography and Mammography. I have been a radiographer for over 15 years specialising in symptomatic Mammography in the Lancashire Breast
