I am a highly experienced Mental Health Nurse and an EMDR Accredited Practitioner. Using my various skills I am able to offer help with a great deal of psychological conditions. My training, work experience and any achievement

I qualified as a Registered Mental Nurse in 1969. Since then I spent 22 years in the Royal Air Force as a mental health nurse dealing with a vast spectrum psychological issues. Since leaving the RAF I worked for the NHS as a Primary Care Mental Health Nurse and a specialist trauma therapist.

During my time in the RAF I developed a special interest in trauma, specifically PTSD. I went on to be formally trained as an EMDR therapist and then undertook extended training to become an Accredited Practitioner with the EMDRA UK&I and Europe. (emdrassociation.org.uk)

Currently I am a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (nmc-uk.org). I have a keen interest in mental health issues of veterans being the Secretary of the Veterans Mental Health group of the EMDR Association.
