About Veena Mistry
Before I discovered Nutritional Therapy, I had learnt to cope with symptoms of bloating and abdominal pain believing that nothing could be done. After my first session with a nutritional therapist, I could see how my food choices were causing my symptoms and affecting my health. I learned about eating healthy foods that tasted great, increased my energy levels and inspired me to want to help people like me!
How does Nutritional Therapy work?
Nutritional Therapy can help anyone and everyone regardless of age, general health or fitness. Before your initial consultation, I will send you a health and nutrition questionnaire to complete. My approach will assess your individual nutritional needs through an extensive case taking that will include your medical history, current health status and a comprehensive look at your food diary and relationship with food. This will provide me with the basis of finding the root cause of any ailment you may be suffering from to help relieve and manage your symptoms in the long run. Alongside, I will impart the tools and resources with which to create a bespoke and tailored nutritional and lifestyle plan that is
realistic and manageable. My ultimate aim is to help you achieve optimal health through nutrition that encapsulates the mind and body. Through careful consideration of all the psychological, emotional and social factors, the therapeutic plan will focus on you as a whole.
The initial consultation will last for 75 minutes.
Follow up appointments are 40 minutes.
