About Ian Swanson
There are times when life events or feelings can be overwhelming. Feelings of anger stress, anxiety, sadness and loneliness, while all normal, can dominate our lives.
I believe that talking can help to increase your choices and bring about change and is a positive and responsible way to approach life’s problems.
I offer a safe, non-judgemental and confidential space for you to think about feelings, problems, motives, needs, the future, and its joys.
The sessions are about working together to help you understand the behaviours and obstacles that hold you back, and the feelings that are involved, because I believe you can develop and trust your own abilities to solve problems in your life.
My main areas of experience as a counsellor are,
Problems in relationships at home or work or within families.
Difficulties in dealing with feelings.
Life changes and events.
Identity and life choices.
