About Patricia Coleman
I work with couples and have done for the last 16 years. My training was at the Tavistock Centre for Couple Relationships. I continue my connection with the Centre as a tutor and have been a senior couple co-therapist with students in training. Additionally, I work with individuals in counselling and have done for more than 20 years. My theoretical approach to working with both couples and individuals is psychoanalytic and psychodynamic.
I work with all kinds of relationship difficulties and like working with couples as well as individuals. In working with individuals, I work within the therapeutic relationship between counsellor and client and often see clients more than once a week. My experience as a psychotherapist and counsellor with both couples and individuals is extensive, varied and with people from different cultures.
In addition to being a psychotherapist and counsellor, I supervise other psychotherapists and counsellors in their private work with both individuals and couples.
