About Jonny Sibbring - Counsellor
I aim to help people make a real difference in their lives. I do this by creating a safe and suportive environment where people are free to talk about the issues that concern them the most. My approach is calm, to the point and above all honest.I am a trained professional who will listen to you without judgement, so you can be really honest. I will help you explore how you feel so that I can help you get to the route of the problem. I can then support you to identify the positive changes you can make to lead a more rewarding life.
I accept Credit/Debit and Amex Card payments which means no more annoying trips to the cash machine or trying to find your cheque book. I am happy to take payments by card without any extra charge using a chip and pin card reader.
UPDATE: I am an Approved Attachment Focused Therapist and Adoption Counsellor. I have been trained by the specialist organisation LINK who are part of the childrens charity Barnardos (Supplier number: 66974).
Previous to becoming a counsellor, I spent 4 years working in a counselling related role in the NHS. I have also previously worked with people with substance misuse issues, victims of crime and young people with sexuality issues
My practice is based in Shoreditch, at the Gestalt Centre, where I am able to offer evening and daytime appointments. The Centre is just 10 minute walk from the City, making it an ideal venue for an after work appointment. It is only 5 minute walk from Old Street Station and a 10 minute walk from Liverpool Street and Moorgate stations.
I also offer sessions in Clapham on Monday mornings at The Awareness Centre on Abbeville Road.
In addition to these venues, I also offer sessions throughout the country via Skype and can work flexibly between face-to-face and Skype for those people who work away from home.
Home visits can also be arranged.
I keep a small number of sessions available at a reduced rate for students and low income earners. Please get in contact for more details.
