About Gayle Grainger Counselling Ltd
I am a qualified UKCP Accredited counsellor providing a professional and friendly service for individuals and couples from my private practice in Stamford, Lincolnshire. I am passionate about counselling and about the benefits talking therapies can provide to people suffering with mental distress brought about by difficult events, relationships and experiences in their life. I provide both short term and long term face to face counselling and seek to provide a safe and trusting environment where you can feel relaxed and at ease to explore the difficulties you are currently facing.
My training, work experience and any achievement
I am a fully qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor and member of the United Kingdom of Counselling & Psychotherapy. I hold full professional indemnity insurance. I am trained as an integrative counsellor meaning I integrate more than one theoretical approach into my work with clients allowing me to draw upon on a range of teachings in order to best support my clients needs.

The counselling sessions I provide are face to face, one to one sessions for adults.
I am available to see clients on:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday
My session timesare:
9am-10am, 10:30am-11:30am, 12pm-1pm, 1:30pm-2:30pm
3pm-4pm, 4:30pm-5:30pm

I trained and volunteered with Relate and have worked with couples in private practice for many years. Areas of focus that commonly come up are improving communication, resolving conflict, mental health, past trauma impacting current relationship, quality time, life stages, sex lifes.
Cruse Bereavement:
I am a volunteer counsellor with Cruse Bereavement and have a great deal of experience in working with people who have suffered bereavement and loss.
Mind Cambridgeshire:
I have also been a volunteer counsellor for Mind Cambridgeshire working with clients with a wide range of mental health issues and supporting clients with the impact this has had on themselves and their relationships.
