Belinda is an Integrative Psychotherapist, CBT Counsellor, Mindfulness Teacher, Coach (MBSR, MBCT, MBCP and Mindfulness-based interventions) and Complementary health therapist specialising in massage and healing..
She trained at Oxford University Mindfulness Centre, and been practicing mindfulness meditation for over 30 years. She has a long history of mindful movement practice inc: Tai Chi, Qi Gong, Yoga, Pilates, Dance and Alexander technique.
Belinda is interested in enhancing human potential through the therapeutic use of mindfulness across our lifespan.
Belinda specialises in helping people who suffer from stress related issues, anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, pain, health issues, sleep problems, workplace problem solving, difficulties with hormones, infertility pregnancy, childbirth, parenting.
Mindfulness is the idea resource for cultivating; Stress reduction, well-being, resilience, focusing skills, communication, compassion, emotional literacy, creativity, and work/life balance. Belinda also enjoys curating Mindfulness events for special projects and follows the Good Practice Guidelines for teaching mindfulness-based courses.
Belinda has been active in Complementary health care for over 30 years and mental health care specialist for over 15 years. She has worked various clinics including; The Hale Clinic, Third Space, NHS Psychiatric Unit-Pembury Hospital, Mental Health Foundation-Tunbridge Wells, Avenues Trust-Tunbridge Wells, Dulwich Medical Centre, and Nuffield Health at Goldman Sachs.
Belinda offers the 8 week, evidence-based MBCT/MBSR course on an ongoing basis at The London Mindfulness Project, as well as offering Mindfulness in the Workplace workshops for Stress Reduction over a number of years.
Belinda recently completed her Mindfulness in Childbirth and Parenting training at Oxford Mindfulness and now offers this amazing 9 week course for pain and anxiety reduction as well as coping with the new job of mother, partner and all the stresses which go with this new way of being. I also offer Pregnancy massage and reflexology as well as Reflexology during infertility treatment for stress reduction.
I specialise in Counseling, Psychotherapy and Coaching and have many years of supporting individuals with the difficulties of changing negative unhelpful thinking patterns, behaviors, physical pain and somatic trauma. I also specialise in relationship issues and developing emotional literacy and comfort with emotions as useful information for change.
I facilitate change and coping strategies with mindfulness meditation and attitudes of compassion, willingness and beginners mind, in each session as a way to change old patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving to facilitate the changes you want to make and become the person whom you want to be. My work is evidence based.

My training, work experience and any achievement
I have over 35 years experience and training in massage, natural health care and aromatherapy. In addition, I started training in Transactional Analysis Counselling & Psychotherapy in 1999 and continue to train in Mindfulness-based Cognitive Behavioural therapy.
I have studied, Intuitive massage, aromatherapy massage, pregnancy aromatherapy, clinical aromatherapy, aromatherapy for
cancer care, deep tissue and sports massage at University of Westminster, Myofascial techniques, psoas, knee, shoulder and neck releases at London and North London School of Sports Massage, traditional Chinese massage, reflexology at the Bayley school of reflexology.
Optimum Nutrition at the Institute of Optimum Nutrition. Dousing with Jack Butler.
Psychological training includes; Transactional Analysis clinical psychotherapy and counseling-Wealden College, NLP,- Link College, Cognitive behavioural hypnotherapy-UK College of Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy, Coaching with coaching academy, many CPD workshops, Mindfulness-based stress reduction (MBSR), Mindfulness-based Cognitive therapy (MBCT), Mindfulness for childbirth and parenting (MBCP), mindfulness for pain, mindfulness in the workplace, Finding peace in a frantic world and many other CPD workshops as well as silent retreats.
I continue to train in mindfulness, compassion focused therapy, and Mindful parenting skills.
I have also practiced Tai chi, qi gong, meditation, Alexsander technique, dance, pilates and yoga for many years which helps me manage my stress, thinking, behaviours and well being.
I am in supervision for Psychotherapy and Counseling and also for Mindfulness.
I abide by the Code of Practice and Ethics of both UKCP and BACP and I adhere to the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice and UK Mindfulness Trainers Network professional guidelines for good practice in teaching mindfulness-based courses.
