I am an experienced practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine. I employ a holistic style of treatment uniquely combining Eastern approaches to health with Western medical understanding. I frequently incorporate Qigong Tuina bodywork techniques to facilitate muscular release along with acupuncture to restore balance between body and mind. Chinese herbs (GM and sulphur free), tailored to each patient’s condition are often prescribed as required. Lifestyle and dietary advice is also an important part of any individual treatment plan.
I have been practisIng fully since 2005. I am able to help patients with relief from the symptoms of most general health problems, notably stress/anxiety, depression, fatigue, digestive problems, irritable bowel syndrome, chronic illnesses, musculoskeletal problems, e.g. back pain, joint pain, sprains, strains as well as gynaecological problems.
I also have an interest in Chinese medicine’s ability to successfully and effectively resolve stubborn skin conditions for the long term such as acne, fungal infections, e.g. athlete’s foot, thrush, and diminish the signs of ageing using cosmetic acupuncture treatment.
I regularly attend seminars in traditional oriental healing techniques and am routinely in contact with ongoing developments in modern and traditional medicine.
