Acupuncture
Acupuncture is an important part of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is ancient system of healing which has been practiced for more than 2500 years.
Acupuncture helps to re-establish a natural balance between body and mind by stimulation of specific acupuncture points along the skin of the body. Acupuncture can be effectively used to facilitate recovery from wide range of common health problems.
Cupping
Cupping is one of the oldest therapeutic methods in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Cupping works by applying suction through a glass or plastic jar (called a cup), in which a partial vacuum has been created. Cupping is particularly beneficial for colds, flu, bronchitis and upper respiratory infections. It is also used to release tension held in the body, most often the upper back, shoulders and neck.
Tuina massage
Chinese massage therapy, or Tuina is one of the branches of Traditional Chinese Medicine. It is a non-invasive medical massage developed and practised by the Chinese for thousands of years. In contrast to other forms of massage tuina is used to treat specific illnesses of an internal nature as well as muscular skeletal ailments. Tuina and acupuncture are closely related: they are both based on Traditional Chinese Medicine, share a common approach to diagnosis, and use the same meridians and points in applying treatment.
