About Julia Exposito-Garcia
My interest in Chinese medicine started when I had acupuncture treatment for muscular pain and noticed that the treatment was having an effect on the way I felt in general. As a result, I decided to continue treatment for a few months after the initial muscular complaint had been resolved. I was so impressed by the changes that I decided to become a practitioner myself.
I completed my acupuncture studies at the London College of Traditional Acupuncture and then went on to study Chinese herbs for another year. In the Summer 2004 I visited a hospital in China to observe how acupuncture is practised and to gain clinical experience. I am also qualified in basic and advanced levels of Reiki and in the ear acupuncture NADA protocol for drug addiction and stress management.
As a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) I am obliged to follow a strict Code of Ethics and Practice. Personal Indemnity and Public Liability insurance is standard.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions regarding your condition and how Chinese medicine may help. I look forward to hearing from you.
